LiteratureXchange – Aarhus International Literature Festival

LiteratureXchange is a new literature and research festival that seeks to combine a literary experience and academic research.

From various fields in order to give its audience new perspectives and an opportunity to discover new relations in the world of literature.  Dialogue and exchange of knowledge are essential values in all of our events and LiteratureXchange encourage debates between author and researcher, between reader and author and between reader and reader. The festival is annual, and it took place for the first time in 2018 with 150 events, more than 10.000 attendees over 11 days, and renowned participating authors such as Nobel Laureate Herta Müller, Tomas Espedal, and Sergij Zjadan.
In 2019 the festival will take place from June 13 to June 23, and several authors have already confirmed their participation, including Per Petterson (NO), Dorthe Nors (DK), Audur Ava Olafsdottir (IS), Yasmina Khadra (AZ), Klas Östergren (SE) and Ilmar Taska (EE), Sjón (IS), Jonas Harstad (NO), Jan Stocklassa (SE) and many more.
